WHERE TO STAY:
Napa Marriott - You can always expect a lovely stay at the Marriott Napa. From the service, the outdoor eating patio, beautiful modern rooms and a excellent
location. Very close to downtown Napa and overall easy to navigate around many of the great wineries from this location.

WHAT TO DO:
Napa Wine Trolley - The Napa Wine Trolley was a great addition to our trip to get a lay of the land. If you are going to Napa for the first time, the trolley ride is very helpful because it provides a lot of information about many of the wineries in and around Napa Valley. It will take up most of your day, so be prepared.

WINERIES WE VISITED ON THE NAPA WINE TROLLEY:
Castello di Amorosa - It's a beautiful castle and the “Top Ten Must-See” landmarks in Napa Valley. I feel this visit provided more Napa Valley views and great photos rather than the actual wine itself. Still, a must-visit!

Beringer Vineyards - One of my absolute favorites! Beringer Vineyards is a winery in St. Helena, California. And it's the oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley. I found the grounds stunning and such a wonderful welcome by the staff.

Long Meadow Ranch - Though we only did a small tasting outdoors here, I have heard incredible things about this winery and their restaurant, Farmstead. I hope to revisit this place and spend a longer amount of time here.

TRYING TAPAS IN NAPA
La Taberna - Spanish pintxos (tapas) & drinks served in a contemporary space with a full bar. This was a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and highly recommended. It was one of the best tapas I have tried in the Bay Area due to the creative mix of ingredients and flavors by the head chef! Also, they have a sister restaurant just next door called Zuzu which does tapas and paella.
Here is a direct link to both La Taberna and Zuzu

COOKING CLASSES - CIA AT COPIA
We loved this experience because of the hands-on cooking we got to do in the modern, fully equipped kitchen with the chefs. We took the brunch course, but there are so many other options for classes at the CIA at Copia! They offer couses such as:
Creative Demonstrations
Hands-On Cooking Classes
Wine and Cheese Presentations
Wine Tasting Courses
Having worked at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris for 4 years, it was so wonderful to be back in such an incredible kitchen.

BEST THING WE ATE IN NAPA
Bouchon Bakery - The Pork Belly Fouee. Oh WOW. This by far has been one of the best things I ate in 2019. Incredibly juicy, tender in all the right places, very flavorful and came with a creamy savory white sauce. The bread enveloping was perfectly baked. If you go to downtown Napa, I hope you make this your first stop in the morning! You will love it if you are a foodie.
I was so busy eating this, that for the first time I didn't even take a photo.
But check out the full Bouchon menu here and an internet photo of The Pork Belly Fouee

SANDWICHES ON THE GO

The Girl and The Fig - This trolley provided us lunch from Girl and The Fig and it was perfect. Well dressed, light and seasonal ingredients. My favorite was the combination or caramel and salt cookies. Oh wow!

There are so many incredible things to explore, eat, drink in Napa, but if you are going here for just 2 days, the above places are very recommended. I hope this helps you plan your visit a little better.

Keep Explore. Keep Growing.

Much love,
Preeti
